    Nice video, mate. This is not actually the way real karate-man fights. People nowadays has turned it into a sports, or a kickboxing. Actually, real original karate is a defensive art. If challenged by a worthy opponent, a karate-man just coil itself like a cobra, his body fully cocked like a gun, rock hard, and wait for the opponent to attack him. And when he sees an opening, he 'explodes' his bomb. I like to use the word explode as that's what it looks like when a karate-man delivers his blows from a 'cocked' position - when his muscle is fully isometrically contracted (google 'isometric exercise'). Real karate teaches isometric exercise until the students can fully control all his muscles at will. Isometric exercises are routinely taught in karate and usually practiced in form of exercises called kata(s). Look how this old master shows the essence of isometric contraction in kata exercise called Sandairui, usually called Sanseiryu & written as number 36 in kanji:
