So apparently this is still going on this weekend around the corner from me, I was hoping it all fell apart and no one got punched in the head, alas no dice. Im away this weekend else grim curiosity would have gotten the better of me and I would have gone. It all sounds like a right circus, it's a white collar event, Robin Reid is the guest referee, Oakey hasnt fought for a hundred years and Lacy gets knocked out left right and center. Ideally they are as hopeless as one another and neither lands a punch of note and they go home with a few quid in their pockets, then jack it the fuck in.

Never seen Tony Oakey. His last fight was a points loss to a guy who was 9-25 in 2010, how can there even be any money in something like this

Oakey was very popular though, used to bring out a lot of fans, so I reckon there still might be plenty who would go to support him. They have had plenty of notice, so training time shouldn't be an issue, but it sounds like a bit of a circus. Hope its a good night, but neither has any power left.
