Oh he's a Yankees fan alright....quite fitting for him really.
Oh, a Yankees fan in this thread. Get the pitchforks!
lol cubs... never been a fan of chicago though
Alright Cubs!!
This was a must win for them last night.
Missed the game, on account of having been at a Metallica concert last night (on a Wednesday!!).
It's now tied, and I'm hoping the Cubs can wrap the Series up in Chicago.
I won't be too bummed out if it goes 7 games, however.
I LOVE that it's the Cubs and Indians instead of the Dodgers and Blue Jays!!!!
The Cubs win with a game seven walk off home run.
Hated that they beat the Dodgers but would love Cubs to extend this and win the series.
Sonofabitch!!
The Cubs have gotten shutout 4 times this postseason.
Down 2-1, but not out. They were down 2-1 to the Dodgers and came back to win the series.
Gotta win the next two at Wrigley to have a chance.
It's the curse of Steve Bartman!
Holy crap, I'm trying not to get too excited, because I know all to well that that it is possible to come back from a 3-1 deficit, aka my Cavs vs the Warriors, but damn it sure is looking good for my Indians. My God, Friday night was a nail biter. I screamed at Napoli through the tv when he booted that ball in the 9th, but thank God our pitching once again took care of things. Then last night belonged to Kluber again, and Kipnis putting the nail in the coffin with that 3 run shot.
I'm going to be a nervous wreck watching the game tonight.
I'm rooting for the Cubs... but will be happy with either result. Heaven knows Cleveland has suffered enough, sportswise. Along those lines, Chicago at least has had the Bulls in recent times, and the Bears before that. With Cleveland it had been long decades in any sport. I'd still like it to extend to 7 games, though.
Well....... the Indians have started the scoring with a Jose Ramirez home run.
Somebody should tell that dude he doesn't have to put the whole pack of chewing tobacco in his mouth all at once.
My Game Seven scenario is still on but unlikely. Can't see the Cubs getting two in a row against this mob on their own field. The Indians are going to have that lights out pitcher (name?) available for game seven if it goes that far.
