Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Chapman blew the save but they still did it. The billy goat is no more.
Apparently some guy's goat was denied entry into the ballpark a looooong time ago, and the guy promptly put a curse on the Cubs. Or so the story goes. When you haven't won in decades, any excuse will serve as a reason why your team hasn't won. Hell, Steve Bartman interfered with a foul ball that Moises Alou was set to catch, supposedly setting off a series of errors and blunders by the Cubs that turned their Series around and eventually caused them to lose the Series. Granted, it was a bonehead move... but Bartman didn't commit all those errors in the field after the play. So the Boston Redsox had their Bambino curse (having sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in 1918 or something like that), and that was the explanation for all their blown Series chances until they finally broke through in 2004, I believe. Baseball is full of curses and superstitions.
The Cubs would've won a lot of championships over the last century if it wasn't for that rotten stinkin goat
That was a great final game and series. Could have done without the momentum killing rain delay but seemed to pass quick.
That Billy goat is on the grill.
what a sissy a real fan would of chugged that beer.

This Chapman fellow... he throws really hard, but it seems like he's a bum!
Bum as in bad?
One thing I do think is that he's slightly mentally fragile.
Of course, that's probably the case with a lot of closers, also.
