Default Anyone else looking forward to the Vinny Paz movie?

I've always been a Vinny Paz fanatic. He always embodied the heart and determination and inspires me to watch boxing! And he was always so damn entertaining! He provided more bang for your buck in one fight that a lot of these cutesy pie slicksters did in a career!

I was expecting this to be on the Hallmark channel or something.

Will definitely sell out in Staten Island and the West Bronx.

While Yo Vinnie's life story is inspiring and his comeback admirable..... I was never a fan.
The only way I'd watch the movie is if they have real life video clips of RJJ kicking his ass.

Yea he seems like a guy who wouldn't be popular if he were currently active, although coming back from any kind of bad neck injury is pretty impressive. Roy Jones even fighting him was quite embarrassing in fairness.

I hope it's better than hands of stone that was disappointing.
The best boxing movie got to be Raging Bull .

His skills in the boxing ring are irrelevant in this case. Even though he was a damm good fighter considering his limitations. But this story is about a man beating his biggest enemy, the one enemy that we all got in common. The enemy that's inside of our own heads. Vinny went through some serious adversity and I can only imagine of what type of dark places his mind was in after that accident. His will and determination is admirable and we can all probably learn something from him.

Read an interview where he went to the casino and won hundred of thousand of dollars but in the film they just put he won a smaller amount. Vinny said why did you only put the smaller amount and the director said it had to be believable.

Which is funny as they normally exaggerate in films not play it down.
