Greed for money can make you do strange things like make weight.
True but he has been out of the ring for a while and is notorious for missing weight. I just don't see him being able to physically make the weight anymore.
I think he can make it with some help.
    .....or on the moon.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

    Pathetic.

Can make weight for Chavez but not for GGG.

Another massive money move for golden boy..

More than a money move, it's the biggest PUSSY MOVE in the history of organized boxing.
It's admitting you're scared shitless of the other guy, and will use any excuse in the world to avoid him.

Even Canelo's mother should disown him.

You can't be a man without courage and be a below average\average\good boxer, never mind a very good one. It's just not possible since the system is designed weed out the people that lack courage early in their careers.

This fight might happen because boxing is a business, that's all. Oh and no fight is easy... Even Rod Salka got some shots on Danny Garcia. Even the untrained brawler who's coming in to land a lucky shot has an actual shot at landing it.

I actually think Chavez JR vs Canelo is an interesting style match up. I'll watch it... at least there won't be any running going on.

now it could be billie joe saunders :S..... maybe the winner takes on golovkin, this would be more than acceptable I think if we get saunders canelo fight then the winner takes on golovkin next.

Canelo v chavez jr would be fun but hopefully it gets made after an alvarez golovkin fight, or after saunders if saunders beats him.

I'd give Chavez a better chance of beating Canelo than Saunders, for whatever that's worth.

I think Saunders fully motivated and in condition can beat Canelo provided it is at a neutral venue.

Saunders v Canelo makes more sense than Canelo v Chavez.

In all honesty, if Canelo doesn't care about being seen as the biggest pussy in boxing history for ducking GGG at 160 and fighting JCC Jr. at 165.... and make $$$$ while doing it.... that's his prerogative.
