He won last night on the BJS/Lemieux undercard. Incidentally, his opponent was not 10-10, but 23-10 going in.
This guy is starting to get a sort of Oscar following with the ladies. He's going to blow up large me thinks.

His mother seems to have created a very effective social media campaign to build him up. He has a younger brother, 'Sugar Rush' Sean, that is coming along next.
Smart by him Mother to utilize social media. Saw him a couple of weeks ago when scrolling along, think it was unilad or something non boxing affiliated. Has a spot lined up next month of espn2 card.
I often wonder how some of the greats of the past would have flourished in this social media age.

Tony Galento would be a twitter king with multiple YouTube channels . In a way fighters then were probably just as scrutinized and exposed as some today, but with more substance? There was more of a quality over quantity as far as promotion and the spectacle was massive for big names. Then again flip it...how about the fans. Can we honestly say we'd wait in a crowd like this just to hear a newspaper tell us how a fight went Let alone who won. Below waiting on results of Dempsey v Carpentier I believe. Definitely puts it in perspective how easy we actually have it now. Boxing was once a sport you had to hunt for and follow like a lone gypsy just to get fight night info. Not now.
Didn't look so hot tonight. Winded and hurt in 6th and roughed up last few rounds but won on early lead. Winds majority 10 Carlos Morales
Asked if he's ready for Gervonta Davis..skirts answer and sounds humbled. Smart.
Didn’t know what time the fight started. I saw the last 5 rounds. He looked winded the entire part I watched and held a ton. I obviously didn’t see what was supposedly his winning rounds, but even if he did well at the beginning, the last rounds showed that he has a lot of work to do. I still think that he can be good, but he may have to wait a couple more years.
Was his father in his corner last night? If he hasn't been phased out yet he will be; they've gone about as far as they can together.
He got a bit of a scare there. Hopefully it grounds him a bit and he uses it to learn from.

His father was there, don't expect to see that too much longer.
waiting around too much to throw your step back check hook.
slow your jab down and steady it out. one slow and steady jab every couple seconds. not one fast jab every 30 seconds. steal him. it makes him antsy. he'll throw punches irresponsibly.
now that you got him antsy, you can walk him into your step back check hook better. if you dont walk him into something big, you win the round with that jab you've been throwing.
dont back up into corners or onto the ropes. go along the ropes and curve around the corners.
