Joe Calzaghe back in boxing as former unified world champion earns manager's licence
Boxing legend Joe Calzaghe will represent two of Britain's brightest former Olympians after being granted a manager's licence.
The Welshman hung up his own gloves eight years ago with a perfect 48-0 record in the ring.
And the former unified super-middleweight world champion will know pass on his knowledge to the next generation.
The Sun reports that Calzaghe will represent Joe Cordina and Josh Kelly who both competed at the Rio Olympics last year.
Cordina, 25, and Kelly, 22, have both signed promotional deals with Eddie Hearn.
The former, Welsh like Calzaghe, will make his debut in Glasgow on April 15.
Calzaghe has long resisted the temptation to step back through the ropes.
