Default Santa Cruz needs to travel to Belfast for trilogy

For starters he gave his word. Frampton didn't have to fight Leo immediately the 2nd time but the first fight was exciting and many wanted to see it again. In the States again. I think it would be a poor move by Santa Cruz if he demands the 3rd fight be in the US again.

I personally hope that the 3rd fight does not get made and they fight someone else.

Let the fight "marinate" as one dick of a promoter once said but for this one I believe the fight will be bigger and better once these fighters beat up the other champions in their weight.

After that, the fight can be made where the most money is but for now we want Frampton back on these shores. Preferably free on ITV.

I actually agree with Master on this one. I would be completely fine with them fighting each other next, but it would be nice if they got in 2-3 fights before a 3rd fight. That would make the 3rd fight a lot more exciting.

How often do we disagree that you had t put "actually" in your post?

I'm always weary of anyone who uses the word marinate. Both guys are still in their primes and amongst the best in the division. Frampton deserves the opportunity to avenge his first loss. Santa Cruz was given that opportunity. It's only 1 more fight then they can move on. They need the decider. Both fights were good too.

    All the time 😁

Just kidding. I just added the word for whatever reason.

Both guys won a close fight. I'm assuming the next fight will be close again. I don't think it will do wonders for either of their careers to either edge or lose a close decision at this point. If they get a few more wins over some other good fighters first, then a third fight would be very good for their careers and even legacy.

Depends on who they would fight. I can understand Frampton/ Selby. But there was talk of Santa Cruz/ Mares II. Are those fights really better than a rubber match? If someone could nudge Russell Jr to get of his a** and get involved that would be great. If one of them chose to face the badas* Valdez I would definitely tune in.

I'd definitely watch a third go and no problem with it on Frampton soil. But I'd like to see them take on a fight prior but see no scenario where the title holders would clash. Personally would love to see contrast between Santa Cruz and Valdez, fire fight on deck. Frampton and Selby could be massive at home.

Personally I think Valdez takes over the division. I'm probably jumping the gun a bit but he is such a beast in the ring. Valdez is one fighter at the moment that I am very excited about.

I'm pretty high on Valdez too. I think that he will be really good.

    So that settles it

Cruz v Valdez and Frampton v Selby winners fight one another.

Obviously a trilogy would be good but this division has so many potential great matchups i'd rather they fight other people instead. Mix up all the names mentioned so far and throw Quigg in with them too. Terrific division. You can lose in this calibre and still make for an attractive fight with the next guy
