Always wanted to know this guys.
I know it will vary depending on the fighter but can we use AJ trainer as an example?
If AJ will receive 15 million for last nights fight, how much does the trainer get?

I am sure the more well established trainers like Roach get a bigger percentage.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I remember Brendan Ingle took 20-25 of Hameds. Think that's what the eventual fallout was about.
I think 20 is fair. Trainers don't make outside the fights like the fighters can.
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Lots of trainers are managers too so end up taking 40%+, especially for young fighters starting out.
Depending on the circumstances/relationship, trainers of the super rich earners will be on less than 10%. Although not a trainer, Frank Maloney's percentage as Lennox Lewis manager was cut to 1% when he become a mega earner (inevitably he got the tin tac).
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Freddie Roach has a cap with Pac; I have heard it is 1 million. That is generally the case, the trainer gets 10% up to a point. Also, the 10% number is not set in stone, it is negotiable. I can guarantee you that when Floyd got $300 million to fight Pac, uncle Roger didn't not get 30 million. Maybe a million, more likely half that.
Virgil hunter has quite a few big name professional fighters in his team.
So with Berto vs mayweather, Khan vs Canelo, and Ward vs Sergey over the last 3 years it's fair to say he made a fair few million.
A well known trainer manager once told me..... There are natural talents out there, like any other sport, the idea that true gifted talents like naz, George best, tiger woods, Ronnie o Sullivan need 'trainers' is patently ridiculous. They may need fitness coaches, fair enough, but a fitness coach don't get ten percent or anything like it. It's all down to historic sign up deals when the gifted ones are young, that's why there are so many bust ups in mid contract. All due respect to the ingles but what the fuck could they TEACH naz about boxing? Just turn up and keep fit. Trainers only bring benefits to mediocre improvers, bellend and glen mcory being classic examples.
Is it mandatory to have a trainer in boxing?
