Ward would beat Kovalev in a 3rd or 4th fight...Ward broke Kovalev down to a point where he is now considering moving up in weight and being trained by Virgil hunter..that's a pure sign of internal loss.

Ward is the best and that's all there is to it..he chased Kovalev into his division.

Imagine if GGG chased Ward like this?
If GGG did he would be worshipped.
Kovalev is substantially bigger than GGG and Golovkin is far more likeable than Ward. Says a lot when English is Wards first language.

For sure. I don't even like Ward. I'm sure that's surprising considering how much I defend him. And I do like GGG, probably also surprising considering how often I question him.

I just like to see people challenge greatness. Even if they fail. For example Froch, I didn't like Froch then he fought top guy after top guy and he won me over. Win some, lose some, whatever. But challenge yourself.

I think he point is that Ward moved up a weight class to fight Kovalev who was considered one of the best fighters in the world. And even after that, some people are still trying to discredit him.

If GGG moved up a weight class to challenge Ward (at super middle), and beat Ward, people would be saying he is one of the best middleweight fighters in history. The point was that there was a double standard because GGG is more like able.

    Ah yes.... the Kov-Stevenson topic.

Now that Kovalev's been beaten twice, I'm sure Stevenson's nerve must have increased at least a little bit, don't you think?

Hopefully, Stevenson will believe Kovalev is ripe for the picking and agree to face him.

That would still be a hell of a fight, and I can only imagine that Kov would be chomping at the bit to take his frustrations out on someone else.

I am sure the logic that Adonis would use is that Kov has last twice in a row so why would he fight him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Yeh, you're right. Adonis now has an out....... the coward.
