Mess with NYC? OK, now we'll see what happens. We don't play games here.

I heard it was just the West Coast at this point. Regardless, the threat is real. I think the US should ramp up its perfection and fine-tuning of the THAAD system. Money should be no object.

When it was only Alaska it was ok, now New York that means it is serious.

Nah, they won't shoot at Alaska.

Hold on a second, I went to New York and went to see a baseball match, and also a basketball match. Looking at the fixture lists, they seemed to be regular events in the city??

It sounds like a poor presidents speech from a shit Michael Bay alien invasion film

You can just picture the scene

Bruce Willis hangs up the phone and sighs, downcast he walks into the living room where his daughter is watching the TV just as the square jawed president impassionately promises ''These Alien beings will no longer be a threat to the United States....OR THE WORLD, They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen,"

He walks over and gives his daughter a hug, one single tear falls from her eye as he says ''don't worry baby bear (or any other generic nickname which demonstrates the incredible bond between father and daughter), Daddy's going away for a while but I'll be back real soon'' he kisses her on the forehead and slowly walks out.

As he steps onto the porch he feels rather than hears his elderly fathers presence behind him, he turns and looks at him, and says ''well you heard Mr President...its time that I bought some fire and fury to these alien assholes''

And with that Bruce Willis walks away into the car that has pulled up and is waiting for him as he prepares for the final battle.

Is there a difference between 'annihilated' and 'massively annihilated' ?
