    Default Shane Mosley retires

'Sugar' Shane Mosley one of the greatest fighters of his era has finally hung up the gloves. I hope he hasn't taken too much damage in the ring he had a hell of a career....granted I always wanted Mosley-Trinidad but oh well.

What are your favorite Sugar Shane moments?

How much involvement does he have woth his nippers career, he's taken a back seat in it so far I think, maybe he will take more of an active role now.

Good that he's retired, it's a few years too late as it is.

Just had a look and he's retired due to botched elbow surgery, he was getting some small fragments of bone removed and the surgeon accidentally burnt him leaving him with numbness in his hand and he's unable to straighten or move it properly.

A blessing in disguise I'd say.

    JMM, Bradley and Mosley.

Now we just need Roy Jones Junior to retire.

I'd say 'bout time but he might just jump up and start shadow boxing strangers in the store. Really though glad it's official and great memories.

Shane Mosley, one of my favorite fighters. Wish him all the best on his retirement.

    Favorite Shane moments?

Easy. His absolute dismantling of Margarito in 2009.

Should have retired years ago probably after Floyd beat him
His speech is a bit slurred but hopefully that'll sort itself out.
Trinidad, De La Hoya, Vargas and Quartey retired years ago
Shane did stick around way too long but thankfully he's called it a day.

His best nights were against Oscar (first night) and Margarito
The Cotto fight was good (even though he lost) and his second fight with Wright.

That night against Oscar where he jumped up 2 weight divisions he was amazing but they was accusation of PED. Also think he lost the 2nd fight to Oscar.

That divorce kept him in the game way too long, Jin took a lot from him, she took his fucking belts man......I didn't see her ass out there getting punched in the face!

Jin probably saw Shane's ass pumping away at another woman which is why she took the belts.

I'm not a fan of Mosley and I also think he lost that second fight
It's a shame he never fought Trinidad or even Quartey back in the day
I was suprised when Cotto beat him but Shane can be out boxed.

Mosley was a really good fighter. The whole PED thing tainted his career though. His lightweight career was great, but in reality, once he moved up, he lost to basically all of the better fighters he fought with the exception of de la Hoya (the second fight oscar clearly won).

That was for the 2nd fight right? Forrest ruined the party. He should have retired after the Mayweather fight if not earlier. Really enjoyed the 1st De La Hoya fight. At 135 he was blinding.
