That’s just the classic comeback here when somebody is losing an argument. Basically he’s admitting he has no intelligent response and you won the debate.

Looks like Canelo has agreed to the rematch.

Canelo would look like an even bigger pussy than he did the first time when he refused to fight Canelo citing all the excuses under the sun.

Apparently no rematch clause this time.

Hopefully will not need one and as Rocky infamously said "Don't want one!"

Triple G is not holding up the division. Canelo has been the one jumping up and down the division avoiding the fight.

I really don't like GGG being inactive like this at his age. He really should have had a stay busy fight inbetween. GGG can only decline (which appears to have been happening a bit), Canelo on the other hand can only get better. Will be supporting GGG, but you have to get nervous when a fighter slows in the mid-30's.

He's just as much to blame. At this stage of his career he wanted to fight more regularly, but he's begging for Canelo and pandering to his and GBP's every whim! After the first fight, if he didn't get the rematch in 3-4 months to suit him, he should've said "fuck you, I beat you anyway.im gonna wipe out the rest of the division."
That's if he still truly believes in himself?
If enough don't entertain ODLH's bullshit, he would either run out of opponents or have to toe the line.

Boxrec has GGG having beat 1 of top 8 MWs, Daniel Jacobs, and that win is very very disputable. His chasing that Canelo $$$ has stopped any notion of cleaning out the division.

I don’t necessarily mind the rematch but there are really good fights at MW for each of them. I have a feeling that both will take an easy fight after this one though.

The other contenders should be fighting each other to establish a pecking order while these two are tied up. Jacobs and Charlo should be fighting each other if neither is willing to travel to the UK next to fight Saunders. Or involve Derevyanchenko, Murata, Andrade. Everyone seems available, there's no reason that Centeno should be mentioned when these guys are all basicall available. Andrade already turned down Derevyanchenko for last December stating it wasn't enough time to prepare. Derevyanchenko had no issues.

The thing is that I feel like the other top guys in the division are willing to fight the best.

The all want the spoils that come with the Canelo/ GGG winner. Until then we may see a lot of treading water.

That's one more than the other 7 combined have beat.

In the past year, between Jacobs, Charlo and Andrade they've faced Arias, Heiland and Fox. A round robin to find the best American would make sense. Unfortunately they'd rather chase $$$ then proving who is top dog.
