Default Fighters back after long layoffs

Just another no action weekend and was thinking about guys who come back. Not so much these self imposed career time outs for a couple yrs we've seen like Ward or Mayweather who 'leave' on top but more so guys who have long gaps after defeat, injury or 'life' just getting in the way of career. Success really varies with few reclaiming glory and more just looking to hear their name with hand raised again. And of course the many who come back only to be reminded why they left like ring legend Arguello.

Foreman is a poster boy at 10 yrs with storied comeback that started as a chuckle fest but ultimately he silenced some after rocking and rolling with a tip top Holyfield and capturing the title from the man who beat the man in Moorer. Then you have a still on the rise Tony Ayala who went out the way he came in, in ring and life after a massive 17 yr gap. I was flipping through Youtube and ran across vid of former jr light champ Yong Soo Choi now back after 13 yrs. Ali had life 'get in the way' and basically reinvented himself.

So who regardless of prospect, journeyman or champion stands out with comebacks to you as a fan. And who's next..Ward, Fury, Fishnets? So many guys with recent retirements.

Still a bit shocked about James Degale..he never retired but that long lay off due to injury seems to have affected him..plus the jack fight took alot out of him.

Herol Graham retired in the early 90s, came back about half-a-dozen years later and nearly upset Charles Brewer for a supermiddle title.

Richard Williams, a fringe world-class London fighter, fought Sergio Martinez a couple of times, came back after about 10 years to get blasted in one round by a Latvian hod carrier.

Herol Graham came back after 4 years and beat an then undefeated Chris Johnson, Vinny Paz and knocked down Brewer in his title fight. Absolutely gutted when he got stopped on the ropes by Charles.
