Might have a rare bet on this,

I'm now getting a gut feeling that Groves will bang him out in the 1st or 2nd round as Eubank walks straight onto a massive right hand just like Froch did early on.
I'm thinking with Eubanks chin often in the air and also being physically the smaller man (by quite a bit come fight night) can he really take that same punch that very nearly wiped Froch out?

Odds of 40-1 and 50-1 on an early Groves win.

    Might stick £20 on each

    You will regret the bet.

I'm the worlds worst "occasional" gambler

I put £1 on each round (1-12) for Wlad and Fury then thought id won about £270 only to be told by the wanker in Ladbrookes "Sorry mate you didn't put the extra few quid on for the points win"

    That really fucked me off

Go on Smashy! I hope you fucking win. I'd join you. But I don't want to jinx his chances.

Admire your bottle, who dares wins! Another week to pontificate, but from Sunday all we will get is mediabollox from the papers, and each of the so-called boxing writers have their own favourite promoters, depending on who buys them the most lunches.

You could be on to something with that Smashup. Groves does hit very hard and if he is going to stop Eubank it will be early. Myself though I think Groves might score an early knockdown, will bank the early rounds, but could be floundering a bit late due to his engine problems. It could well be a classic. Of course Calzaghe would stop them both inside of 3 rounds, but that is because Calzaghe and Toney dominate any discussion I might have. It is still a good fight.

I'm gonna go for the bet still but am also secretly hoping we get a Benn v McClellan style out and out war (minus the injury)
Everyone's talking about this fight and Eubank Jnr was on Good Morning Britain earlier hyping it up.

    Good Groves article here

This is one fight that seriously intruiges

Should be good fight as both are genuine tryers. The experience and weight says Groves but I believe that Junior has more. I see a true star emerging and Groves will be the opponent to prove it. I watched Ronnie Davis's face when explaining how good he thinks Junior is. He convinced me.

Is that the same Ronnie Davis that is there just to "Apply Vaseline and carry the bucket"? or the Ronnie Davis that is told by his Boxer to "Stop Talking" when he was offering advice in between rounds? I can him being very convincing .

Good article smashup did not realise Gutknecht can no longer function normally and is a mute and in a wheelchair.

Groves is very funny. I would not mind him winning, I like the guy.

Eubank snr is busy pissing people off.....
Pretty shitty way to hype a fight

TYSON FURY has branded Chris Eubank a “disgrace” and accused him of trying to use Nick Blackwell’s horror injury to promote his son’s fight with George Groves.

Well I'm pissed off, I thought this was on this weekend, that's scuppered my plans.

Also it surprised me when I realised there is only 12 months age gap between groves and Jr, I thought Groves was 32 or 33, he's only 29, seems like he's been around for years whilst Jr seems like a novice still.

Got my bet on, couldn't wait, surprisingly Bet365 have Groves at 13/8 and Eubank at 4/9.

There are a lot of young hipsters out there on the EU bandwagon. If you're backing a groves win you may be better waiting if all this yoof money is going on EU, you might even get 2/1 by fight night for Groves.
