    1. Frampton fight donaire the same night as amir is fighting a bum. How do we secure more views? Pretend there's bad blood.....
    2. Throwing water whilst being cheered on by batman and superman detracts from the seriousness they were trying to portray
    3. Eddie Hearn demanding an apology from the visiting fighter after he brushed Joshua's racist comments under the carpet seems abit rich
    4. Greco is nowhere near fighting weight. If he makes 147 he will be more drain d than Oscar vs PAC.
This is exactly what tickles me about the fight game and fight fans over here. Whether it was a stunt or not, quality wise why would anybody choose to watch this over Frampton v Donaire? But hype wins over the majority rather than what happens in the ring.
And I know all about the fact that more people have access to Sky rather than BT Sport/Box Nation, but that doesn't explain why more people are posting about this meaningless crock of shit than they are about the other fight, which although people may argue it's equally meaningless, it is of a way higher quality.
    Hype beats substance again!

I never understand why promoters put fights on the same night. Sure one will get more viewers but surely both suffering.

Yeah , but in this case , Khan is "Collateral damage." Sky spoil Box Nation's big night by using Khan v Phil the Greek as bait. Anything they take off them is a Bruce Bonus!
And @Master, you say everyone will be watching Frampton, but all you're talking about is Khan.hmmm.

Talking and watching are 2 different things. No harm in calling a shit fight and Eddie trying to generate fake grudge fight, just that.

Khan will annihilate Frampton in viewer figures regardless of the fight. He's a much, much bigger star regardless of being with a much, much bigger promoter and broadcaster.

This Khan thread has more views in one day than Frampton-Donaire has had in a month. For all this bollocks about "hardcores" (one mans hardcore is another mans casual) that thread got a whopping 3 replies, this is 23 and counting.

And the Frampton-Donaire press conference was last week, the fact people don't even know it happened says it all.

Gotta admit I'll be flicking between channels as Grecos key to winning is to wind Khan up with a string of insults to the point where Amir comes out in a rage come fight night, goes headhunting for the early KO and gets put to sleep coming in.
Wonder what time each main event will start?
Be interesting to see if Warren tries to delay the Frampton start time with some random excuse.

I hope it is not on at the same time, this is why Eddie is a complete cunt.

At Khan's current rate of productivity, he'll be pushing 58 by the time he gets back into the 147 mix.

WWE is more believable than that was.

It's sad that Amir has to resort to WWE style theatrics to try & promote his self stalled career.
