117-110 pretty generous but clear win for Garcia. Lipinets really stepped up but took some lumber. Garcia needs to forget this division hopscotching, 147 sounds silly. Do guys clean out divisions anymore?

I think he really means it though. He's after big paydays.

Can't knock him for that. But if he brings that defense to a Spence or Crawford he'll need payday for after care. Lots of work to be done at 135-140

Yes, 117-110 is a bit wide. The 116-111 is a better scorecard.

Lipinets has been underrated by many. Garcia is an elite boxer, he definitely deserves to be in the top 10 P4P.

Generous? Really? I see nothing wrong with that score.

Garcia is such a good fighter. Lipinets proved he was really good too. Other than Garcia, he should probably be able to beat just about everybody else.

I love to watch Mikey , he has wonderful poise and is never rushed.
He could have been good in any era.

Mikey showed he is not a superlight weight best drop back down in weight Lipinets is a plodder he is know were near the best at the weight and Garcia could not make a dent in him.
Yep he won he is not a monster at the weight I like Mikey a monster at the lower weights but go back down I fancy Lomo to give him a boxing lesson if they meet.

Fair enough yeh I didn't keep score. I just saw Mikey bit stationary early and was surprised how often he was getting tagged, felt like a closer fight.

It reminded me a lot of the Valdez vs Quigg fight. A competitive shut out (it’s an exaggeration but the same idea). Lipinets had definite success during each round but most of the rounds Garcia just had more success.

Mikey talking Spence and 147, what's the bet it turns out to be Matthysee?

Have a feeling they're keeping Matthysee (trinket) warm for maybe a Thurman. No disrespect to him but might be tilted with Haymon in the picture and Haymon keeps levels of fighters simply to upsell them for bigger attractions.

Really don't like Garcia talking 147 at all. I think his focus is all over the place and sounds like he's..Arum..are more worried about the asterisk of calling him a 5 division champ.

Yea just seems like the perfect opportunity for Mikey to pick up his 5th divisional title, his mo at the moment.
