Default Sergey Kovalev vs. Marcus Browne

It's now a done deal and it will be televised by HBO.

The exact date is not yet set, possibly it will happen on June 23.

Browne should rematch Kalajdzic except the hanging on like it was a airport reunion. Think Kovalev will punch holes thru him.

Exactly, Browne should already have a L on his record.

I sort of feel sorry for the rest of Kovalev's future opponents until he retires, or he fights on too long. Two losses to Andre Ward, the first controversial... the second frustrating as hell... which will never be avenged. Ward has retired, and that's that. I'd imagine Kovalev uses that frustration as an extra motivation to demolish his opponents, who must know what they're getting into. A part of me still can't believe how Kovalev lost that second fight. One of the lasting mysteries of boxing. I"m still hoping out hope that there will be a Kov-Stevenson fight somewhere in the not-too-distant future.

If Kov wipes out all the champions and unifies, watch Ward come out of retirement.

Good stay busy fight. He needs to fight someone at the top though. The thing is that Kovalev is the top dog of the division. People should be calling him out, but I feel like nobody has.

The elephant in the room here is Adonis Stevenson. Stevenson claims Kovalev "isn't ready to fight him yet", stemming from his back-to-back losses to Ward. That is the biggest load of bullshit ever spewed on the face of the planet. The public has wanted this fight for years, and it's painfully obvious Adonis doesn't want it. I imagine Stevenson will consider Kov "ready" when he's already retired and fat and happy.

Badou Jack "could" be the new bogeyman at 175.

Kovalev is the top dog but Jack might actually be even better at this weight.

Marcus Brown has looked devastating in his last fight. He’s def going to come to win and is a step up from the last two guys Kovalev picked on to get his confidence back up. This is a good fight.

Absolutely. He slaughtered Monaghan like he was in a butcher shop.

As for Stevenson, he is he PIMP n the room Beats up young women and has little or no remorse. F--k him.

Big step up from his last 2 fights to Kov.

    I could see Kov's last 2 opponents beating Browne's.

That fight left my mind long ago. Stevenson has avoided all challenges for the past 3 years. Jack is finally the first solid fighter he is fighting since he won the title. Stevenson potentially isn’t even top 5 anymore.
