Andre was the big foot villain in Six Million Doller Man. Very hairy and scary.

I never met Andre but one of my former coworkers was a bartender at a hotel the wrasslers stayed at and she said to me that Andre was obviously gigantic and a little smelly as would be expected for a guy his size, but she said she always felt so bad for him because the white trash would ALWAYS want to fight him and they'd never leave him alone. Which I understand why SOME people might do that, but at the same time it had to be hard for Andre's humanity.

Can you imagine him in the UFC when he was like 20 years old? Or as a boxer?

I also heard the 30 for 30 on Ric Flair was awesome too.

So he was a more talented version? I remember Hulk Hogan picking him up.

Andre would also make the Iron Sheikh cry....the Iron Sheikh being a legit badass during his day. Hulk Hogan said that in the ring you were at Andre's mercy. The only guys who would really FIGHT Andre were other big dudes Black Jack Mulligan I've heard of having fights with Andre and maybe Bruiser Brody, I'm less sure of that, but Black Jack Mulligan was no slouch he was 6'9 320 and some times those wrasslers don't hold anything back during bouts but I believe most of the fighting between Mulligan and Andre was alcohol induced.

He was known for his stinking ass and ability to drink ANYONE under the table.
He drank 20 bottles of wine one day during filming of The Princess Bride just to help ease the pain in his back and knees as he basically never stopped growing and his joints couldn't support his weight.
It's the reason he had to quit Wrestling.
It's amazing that during the 1980s you'd get over 90,000 dickheads believing they were watching real fights 😂🤣😂
Well worth a watch though, I hate Wrestling but really enjoyed it.

And it's true that if Andre didn't like the other Wrestler he'd put it on him for real and bash him up.

And that's the Raging Bull Manny Fernandez who damn near killed someone in the ring ON PURPOSE in retaliation for the death of Bruiser Brody that is a gruesome match to watch.....I mean the dude he fucked up was projectile vomiting blood.
