Roman brutalized the body in 5th, Flores still plugging forward but slower with both foot and hand. Flores being left in lurches in 6th after big swings. Getting tough in there.

Rinse and repeat in 7th. Little bit more physical by Flores and Roman body work down.

Maybe Flores takes 8th. Fight has entered a point of repetition. Nice triple lefts to Flores body and Flores gets in wide hook to end 9th. 8-1 Roman very composed

Poor Flores has the footwork of a guy running on ice in 10th. Not necessarily hurt but mouth open huffing, awkward and punching at shadows. Flores one gritty dude hit from every angle.

Didn't think it would be that one sided. Very poised game plan by Roman and consistent. I hope to be as low key and yeh whatever as Spence Jr one day . Dude has no stress

Ocampo comes into ring with a Tequila sponsorship. Probaly a good idea and wise investment. Spence comes in with a shitty rapper. This could be very brutal..buuuut ya never know how those comfy 'homecomings' go. Ask Holyfield

Ocampo looking to stand ground and counter strong early. Clips Spence to body...and he's dropped with huge body shot in return

    Man Down! KO1 for Spence

And lets just be real here...Spence beats Thurman like he owes him money and insulted his dag. Thurman doesn't want none of that.

The sad thing is, as the rate these welterweights fight at, that's Spence gone until next year. Is Thurman ever coming back?

Crawford last week now Spence this, it's all a bit dull. The best welter matchup of the year will be Garcia-Porter, the 4th/5th/6th best of the division.

Two best fights on paper in the sport are

    Loma/Garcia
    Crawford/Spence

And Arum stands in the way of both. Hopefully soon

Hoping Spence vs Garcia/Porter winner can be done before the end of the year or at worst January. But more likely later leaving Crawford/Spence to summer and maybe Thurman’s bone spurs(hahaha) will be healed to finish out next year. I think Thurman/Crawford would be very interesting but Spence destroys Thurman. Spence/Crawford on the other hand I would sit the fence.

How much longer can Spence continue to get away with throwing brutal low blows?

    My thoughts

I agree with Granados. Fortuna didn’t seem to really be hurt but just milked it. I watched the replay multiple times and couldn’t see how he hurt his head. First off, it didn’t look like it hit anything, and second, he fell pretty slow. Good fight but very unfortunate ending.

Roman looks good. He had a great gameplan and executed it. Couldn’t ask for anything more. 122 is a wide open division so he may be able to unify.

Spence was obviously way too good for Ocampo. Generally I don’t like fights marinating but I actually prefer both Crawford and Spence to have at least one more fight at welter against a top guy before their showdown. The only problem is I’m not sure who actually fights either of those two.

    Crawford/Spence
    Loma/Garcia
    GGG/Charlo

Are the fights I want most in the sport for quality and answers.(Would add someone that can give Inoue a run but I don't know who that would be.)
Like I said, Spence and Crawford want the other to look good. These two are the truth. Refreshing

Agreed. Both seem to genuinely want to fight the best and never duck anyone. That’s why I’m confident the fight will happen eventually
