That was impressive, going up and beating Tarver.
I wasn't trying to sound like a know it all or anything, just pointing out what happened.
Tarver was arguably the lineal champ as well.
Hopkins was old school and wanted to have a great legacy. So what better way to do it than beat the light heavyweight champion something Sugar Ray Robinson failed to do.
It also ensured he avoided Joe Calzaghe.
