    Default Getting a new auto

My wife’s car is on its way out. I don’t want her driving it anymore. I have a nice Lincoln MKZ which I love but she is going to take it over. I need to get some kind of SUV the winters around here are brutal. I’d really like and MKT I just really like Lincoln’s but I’m not going to drop a shit load of money on a car that people will fuck up in parking lots etc. I’m also not going to buy brand new, I had one once and someone plowed into me totaling it. Any u guys pick up any solid SUV. I really like the look of the Nissan Murano but I’m reading they are very reliable. I imagine a lot of u in England don’t get American cars but just wondering

I got a new Honda Ridgeline...Japanese brand, but 70% of materials for the vehicle come from the US & Canada and it was built in Alabama. A truck when I need it to be and a SUV when I need it to be that.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a very good SUV, handles everything and we get some winters here. I saw a new Ridgeline yesterday and that is a sharp looking truck.

@greynotsoold are u having luck with that Jeep mechanically and electrically. People say they r great to drive but have reliability issues. Also, how is that model with blind spots

I have electrical issues and I know other people that do though, to be fair, they are older vehicles. Mechanically I have been very happy with it. The only issue I have had was due to negligence on my part. No blindspots, but I rarely watch where I'm going anyway- not much point since I'm blind as a bat.

considering that I have worked in motor insurance for the last 15 years, I don't know how to drive, I would struggle to tell you the difference between a Skoda and a helicopter, the last time I got behind the wheel of a car was when I was about 14 and went on the bumper cars at the local fair (if I remember correctly I was drunk on vodka)

On a daily basis I tell people they are at fault for accidents when I don't have a fucking clue what I am talking about...

If I was you I would buy the most expensive one...and if you are in an accident and it isn't blatantly obvious who is at fault I would say it is a 50/50 split.
