    Default Bad losers

Name your favourite fighter that was a bad loser.

Mines is Julio Cesar Chavez when he lost to Oscar De La Hoya the first time they fought. Looking back he should have been more graceful and respectful to the younger fighter instead he made excuses.

It was a highly anticipated matchup which I wanted Chavez to win but ODH dominated the fight and stopped Chavez in the fourth round due to a large gash Chavez had received over his eye.

Despite Oscar dominating victory, Chavez remained defiant, giving the golden boy no credit whatsoever, stating that his punches had not hurt him and solely blaming the loss on his lack of vision due to the cut.

Being respectful in a loss is a mark of a good character in a man.

Well naturally guys who weren’t used to losing would be bad at it. The expression “show me a good loser, and I’ll show you a loser” comes to mind. In individual, let alone combat sports, that couldn’t be more pertinent... why the hell would you get beat up for a living if you could do anything else?

Few had more excuses than Pacquiao

    Cramps
    Bad socks
    Having blood drawn
Shoulder injury that could be cured by swimming in salt water

The evil James Butler, Dirrell's uncle and Tony Wilson's mum with her stiletto didn't take losing to well.

I know that but some humility and dignity in a loss goes a long way.

Kostya was humble when he lost to Hatton, he could have complained about the low blows.

Miguel Cotto didn't take losing to Margarito all that well, but then again Margarito cheated soooo yeah I think he had the right to flip the fuck out about his Uncle not catching that.

Kermit Cintron...dude JUMPED out of the ring vs Paul Williams instead of lose inside it.

Zab Judah choking Jay Nady comes to mind.

James Butler sucker punching Richard Grant.

Naseem Hamed didn't take losing very well, he up and quit the sport.

Hopkins is one of the worst. He had some stupid excuse for every loss. They weren’t even clever excuses either

He ran off to the lockerroom didn't even shake Oscar's hand. I think Fernando had talked so much shit prior to the fight that he felt like an asshat...Oscar just broke him down he was quicker and cleaner, but also more powerful, he took Fernando's heart that fight.
