Alvarez has already beaten Lara and Trout. And both were much better fighters than Saunders. I can see Saunders lasting the whole 12 if he fights his usual wack ass style of fighting. But I can't see him being competitive. Much less winning

If being consistent that I want the best fighters to fight the best fighters is a bad thing I’m a bad guy. Lemieux is far below the top guys.

You're not going to be happy then, it seems like de la Hoya is planning for a December fight with alvarez and lemieux :S........ it wouldn't be so bad if Saunders hadn't make lemieux look terrible last year .. if it happens at least everyone is back.in action soon and can move on after that :S

Yes but he's missing the may fight from this year, so I would think they want to get the two big events out of him this year and get him back in tine for the normal two dates next year.

The WBC will let Canelo fight whoever he wants. Don’t count on them calling that chip even though Charlo has been the mandatory for a year.

They will pay him step aside money, he could try and take on someone else but there could be politics in doing that or he could sue WBC.
