If the money is right take the fight. GGG can retire whenever he wants. Take the money.

Agreed and might as well go for broke and try and break Canelo this time but I would make it his last fight, lose or draw.

Easier said than done at 37 though. If he cannot dent Canelo he will gas. It is almost as if we are now penalising GGG for boxing and not being a 'true Mexican'. Heck, look at how Floyd and Hopkins fought. Do we penalise them when they are dancing around the ring just pot shotting? It's a funny world. At least GGG's jab is rock solid.

Makes the Mayweather win over Canelo even better..no one will beat Canelo they way Floyd did.

I thought the fight was close and only a round in it..When GGG can’t KO someone he runs out of ideas.

    3rd one please.

Never thought I would say this, but I have to agree with Brock. GGG should retire. he's earned his money , he's getting visibly worse each fight and is getting no younger. Furthermore, he's a challenger now. if he has the desire to get in line and earn his shot by beating a Jacobs or a Charlo , go ahead . But I don't think he has.

I agree with your thread title Brock. Not much else mind but the thread title is good enough. If he's going to take another fight just take the 3rd with Ginger Bollocks and then be done with it. Physically they are pretty much on par these days so it's highly unlikely GGG can win. Just take the dough and run.

He can compete clearly. He threw more leather than Canelo and whichever way you went it was very close. But no one wants to see GGG compete, we want to see him pulverise people and if he cant do that, if he's lost that edge then he should retire. It's been said before and Miles has mentioned it here. GGG is almost penalised in my opinion for not battering people. If he outpoints someone, like he did IMO Canelo X2 and like he did Jacobs, it's almost seen as a knock on him. Which isn't right. BY not getting flattened his opponents, again IMO are getting extra credit.

Brock I disagree about Hagler. It's been wheeled out a thousand times and every time I disagree. I know it's the party line to say the bloke from yesteryear flattens the guy of today, but I seldom believe it. It's lazy and it's said with little thought generally. Hagler GGG both at their best is a war of epic proportions, but for me, to say either one is the clear winner is mental.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

You see? Everybody eventually Falls in line.

as for Triple G he is shot he is flat-footed he's shot. He called out Canelo to fight Mexican style so Canelo went out and Fought Mexican style bwaaaaHAHAHA and Triple G couldn't win the fight

why couldn't Triple G knockout Canelo the smaller man who no longer 8 tainted beef for this match?

Triple G is a joke and he was exposed

What a clown calling out Canelo to fight Mexican style. It didn't look like Triple G was fighting Mexican style to me

GGG retiring is the only thing they're agreeing with you about. The rest is nonsense.

Has everyone forgotten that prior to this fight Canelo was popped for Clenbuterol?

Has that just been memory holed by all of you? Not only THAT but the fight was in Las Vegas where GBP doesn't lose fights .....and people STILL think Canelo won? I mean WOW.

Yeah sure Canelo was juiced, sure he was on the gas, but hey it's not like they had judges in their pocket too...ooooh...oh yeah GBP, Vegas, yeah it's like that.

Canelo won the fight fair and square by backing up the so-called forward marcher Steamroller devastating puncher oh get out the violins they carted out these sparring partners one after the other saying how he hit like a heavyweight haha if Triple G hits like a heavyweight then I guess Canelo has a chin like Muhammad Ali

Come on man fight Mexican style

    bwaaaaHAHAHA

    You can't make that up

listen I don't doubt that he was taking that for the first fight but that was over 6 months ago I don't think it was still in his system and I don't think it helped him in his last fight with Triple G

Don't you think they would have tested for EVERYTHING after he tested positive?
