Default Fight stopped by TKO with fighter not even landing a punch

Actually I think there may be one but mostly a flurry of unconnected fake punches

30 year old welterweight Aaron Herrera recently scored a contentious stoppage in a fight that went under the radar at the time last month but it has not got past the boxing community who have lambasted its content’s emergence.
Referee and judging decisions continue to come under more scrutiny than ever before in recent times with boxing fans taking to social media to blast bad decisions.
And, this has to be without doubt another one.
The footage perhaps says it best:

    That stoppage looks terrible.

That was defensive boxing skills that James Toney would have been proud to show.

There must be another context to that stoppage.

Man, this shit even ain't funny. That ref must have had a death or a massive brain injury on his record. Gatta be!

It was a shit stoppage no doubt. But the guy on the ropes should’ve thrown something back. It’s great having amazing reflexes and defence, but you won’t beat anyone if you don’t throw a punch.

Someone had to cover a bet. Garbage stoppage that also looked 'odd'. Just the way he's flailing and half pulling some punches This ref has huge gaps of work recently 5,6 months only working single cards. Maybe we should have inactive refs come back with soft touches like boxers and get the rust off. Unlike boxers though everyone pays for an officials incompetent call except them. Entire livelihood, earnings and future of a professional permanently altered by a "KO" loss just like that and not a thing he can do about it. Hopefully a reversal..in Meheeco..comes of it or at least immediate rematch.

Reminded that it happened with Andrade in his last fight. Arthur Mercante jr looked like a ref on the take the way he covered his mic in the corner of Akavov and then stopped it in 12th with nothing of significance landing.
