    Default Is Loma injury prone?

I can now recall at least three fights in which he has suffered an injury.

The only serious injury was the surgery to the shoulder after the Linares fight.

The other 2 were minor hand injuries from memory. The older he gets the more prone to injury and general wear and tear.

So I do not think he is injury prone like a Joe Calzaghe.

It will also happens as he goes up in weight and fights guys that outsize him.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Good point but two are a pair and three represent a pattern. He actually beat that Thai guy fighting with one hand. Remarkable performance that went unnoticed.

I think there has always been athletes prone to injury but still go on with it. Minute to minute internet reveals it a bit more that's all.
