    It was something I will never forget. I was at a Boxing Banquet in NYC once and the place was full of luminaires and ex-boxers. People were being given awards and Harold got up and introduced me as one of his very his favorite boxing writers. I didn't see that coming and I was so very humbled My wife and I still talk about that. I also have remained great friends with his wife, Eileen. Harold was a mensch and that's a great compliment.

    Use to agree with his scoring, but he was off on his cards the last 5 plus years or so. He stated Bradley gave Pac a boxing lesson, lol!
    Nevertheless, great animated voice. His passing is telling me, my generation is on deck for the upper room.

    RIP.
