yeah i was reading that earlier. To be honest i think there are bigger fights out there for JC. Clintons people know that and when they reject the offer it will mean that Calzaghe is 'ducking' Clinton.

According to the above link/report a £1 million purse would be a career high so if that is the case then it's between a pound sterling and £999,999

im not sure exactly how much he got for lacy, but it was close to 1m. he got 750,000 for the 2nd Veit fight if I remember correctly, and that was his biggest purse before Lacy.
With Calzaghe's stock right now he could get way over a million fighting in the millennium stadium against anyone.

Thats quite funny.
when Clinton beat Rico Hoye Joe chased him for a fight and Clinton wanted none of it.
Now with Joe beating Lacy and making headlines worldwide Clinton is chasing him for a fight but now Joe knows there is bigger pay days out there.

I would have thought joe made more than 1 million for the lacy fight but what do i know about promotions.
