    Default Thurman injured.

At what point of the PAC build up do you expect to hear the above?

Or is there too much money on the table to risk screwing things up this time.

How about let’s changed the title. Maybe to what if...blah blah blah.

Anyways, too much money on the table to fake an injury at this point

Thrman has already mentally checked out of boxing. He's just after the biggest paydays he can get before he goes. He'd probably go into this fight with an injury if he had to rather than pull out of it. If he loses I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire.

He doesn’t have a history to suggest injury is likely. His history is elective surgery to avoid high risk/low reward.

With the money right he’ll be there, then he’ll have another elective surgery to avoid Spence again

That’s the main reason I want Pacquiao to win. I don’t necessarily believe Thurman fights Spence if we wins. I’m not so sure that Pacquiao does either though. It seems like the winner should most definitely fight Spence.

Errol Spence takes a shot at Keith Thurman on Twitter over Manny Pacquiao fight

On Tuesday afternoon, it was officially announced that Manny Pacquiao would challenge Keith Thurman for the WBA (super) welterweight title on Saturday, July 20 from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas (9 p.m. ET, Fox Sports PPV).

During the presser, Thurman (29-0, 22 KOs) said the old guard of boxing, formerly led by Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao, would be gone once he defeats boxing's only eight-division world champion and sends him into retirement alongside his former foe.

It didn't long for the fighter many boxing pundits feel is the best fighter at 147 pounds and arguably top 5 pound-for-pound in IBF titlist Errol Spence Jr. to take a shot at what "One Time" said.

Yo ass, just don't disappear if you win

The comments made by Spence appear to stem from Thurman taking a 22-month layoff due to injuries after he beat Danny Garcia in March 2017 to become the unified welterweight champion. When we returned to the ring and defeated Josesito Lopez in January, Thurman stated that 2019 would be his 'get back year.' A fight against Spence would have to wait until 2020, and only if it was a unification bout with at least three world titles on the line. Clearly, Spence didn't take too kindly to those words and wanted to remind Thurman to he'll be around should "One Time" get past Pacquiao in July.

Spence (25-0, 21 KOs) most recently fought in March, winning a lopsided unanimous decision over Mikey Garcia. "The Truth" is expected to return late summer/early fall against WBC titleholder Shawn Porter.

    Elective is spot on.

You can't help but feel that there's a timer ticking on Thurman when it comes to something going wrong. Only when he's in the ring and can't break another nail or stub a toe will I be convinced the fight is officially a go.
