Default Masayuki Ito v Jamel Herring ESPN

3 live cards tonight, DAZN, FOX and ESPN and we're dead as a doornail here . Wanted to see Devin Haney but not dropping coin for DAZN until next month. Ito makes his 2nd defense of his wbo strap after dismantling the much talked about Christopher Diaz. Herring is decent and has done well to regroup after a rough patch a couple of years ago, he has his work cut out for him here. Jose Pedraza back in action v Ines Antonio Torres in the co main. We'll see if espn starts on time.

Pedraza very sharp first two round. Didn't realize he was going up to 140 seems a bit odd. Lozada Jr really long and lean walking in on him. Not to jinx Pedraza but he looks like Linares here, right down to the hair cut . Very few jabs from him and choosing to stand in and sharp shoot counter end of third.

Jab really absent for Pedraza in 4th. Lozada has the pressure part down but little technique and idea on his delivery. Nice little rally from him, smothers everything but went a little Paul Williams there. Solid defense, slip roll and counters from Pedraza. Pedraza looking to rip inside the more this guy barges in with that head hanging over. Scrapy approach from Pedraza

Lozada complains about his head of all things to ref and ref obliges him twice by warning Pedraza. Pedraza walked him down and raked him over churning those hands inside entire 7th. Lozada ends round with low blow

The woman's fight on the dazn card was actually quite entertaining, some pretty good punches landed, it really seems that women boxers really lack the strength and stamina to finish fights though, a few of those punches really should have done more damage... Fun to watch though... Haney on now....he's pretty good, seems like a fairly smart fellow too, I like him... Cock knocker Corbin didn't even get in any low blows:S

Ref with another warning while Pedraza was landing like a kid with a broom stick on a piñata. Landing at will, Lozada has few answers but credit for huge brass. Pedraza is doing a savage number on his body at this point, very solid display.

That was a brutal tko. Pedraza looks like a fookin man possessed off that. Short left drops Lozada on his trunks and his Father steps in to stop it as he's being teed off on in corner. Good on his pop for seeing the obvious

Pedraza is a good fighter but will never get to the top of his division. He did well against Loma but obviously is nowhere near his level. If he moves up, he won’t be able to hang with the top guys.

Haney is also very young, so he's going to keep those fast reflexes for quite some time... He isn't so assured when speaking live on camera but he seems pretty smart on non live interviews, I like the git

These kind of “title” fights are just frustrating. Let’s be honest, neither of these guys are at all considered the best at the weight.

He really named himself after Judge Ito from the Simpson trial . Hard work coming for Herring. For Anthems I could listen to the Japanese anthem a few times.

Yeh he kept it respectable showing with Loma. Loma jumps up I think division is there for the taking honestly, lots of good mix ups.

Herring looks to have pocketed these early rounds. Boxing tall and moving very well, Ito can't find a southpaw and a step behind.
