Default How relevant does Ruiz's win now make Parker and Pulev?

Parker "beat" Andy, decked Whyte, and extended AJ. Pulev was almost floored by Sushi, but he remains out here with a very fine record.

What say you about where they now belong in the scheme of things?

While it remains true that styles make fights, I'd also opine that Parker should've never really become irrelevant. No reason for that. It's not like AJ blew him away or anything like that. Parker is still a top contender, and should be lined up for a shot in the not-too-distant future.

The exciting thing about the HW division right now is that it’s wide open and everybody is very vulnerable. So people like Parker and Pulev aren’t great but they are good enough to beat the top guys if they come in sharp and the top guy isn’t ready.

Parker should fight Wilder and Pulev is still a pussy trying to get a title shot on the cheap!

A guy can always shine a little bit when his conquests do very well. The whole 'I did it first, did it better' thing maybe. The time of others puts things into perspective. Even though I had Ruiz beating Parker Parker hung in with AJ and Joshua looked a bit flat at times.

It's like when a guy beats a guy and then his rival beats the same dude afterwards. Maybe more impressively, but really the fact he was beat earlier, mentally and physically, can't be lost and aided in what came next. I've run off the road and into the woods on this topic .

Agreed. Parkers confidence must be high knowing he's the only man to beat the man who beat the man.
at 27 he has a bigger future than most guts around now. Usyk she another 1 to watch

pulevs abit old now but if he got a shot at Ruiz or even Joshua should he get his belts back you can't rule him out of beating either

Parker not drop by Joshua or Ruiz 24 rounds. Recover v Whyte. Deserve mention

Usyk is definitely one to watch. Also the Pole, Baby Face---assuming he beats anther no-svelte guy Arreola.
