Default Was Floyd even Knocked down?

The punch may have hurt him but I don't think it made his legs go, look at Judahs feet... theres hardly any weight in the shot its an arm punch and he was off balance and stepping back when he threw it any way.

When I see Floyd... I see him crouched down really far and stumbling from it mainly due to his lowered center of gravity and the fact that he moved his body to far from his legs.

so if some one stepped on my feat and my glove touched the canvas I would loose the round 8-10?...

hitman, you try squatting down that low and see what happens if some one pushes your forehead softly

His glove touched the ground ,it was an obvious knockdown richard steel did a bad job of not calling it one, If you look back at the Trinidad - Mayorga fight Trinidad suffers a very similar knock down in which he is cought with a good shot looses his balance and his glove touches the ground. Mayorga was awarded the 10-8 round as Judah should have been. It would not have made a difference to the out come of the fight, never the less it was a ligit knock down caused by a good punch by Judah and he should have got recognition for it.

Floyd was knocked down. He wasn't hurt by any means... but he got caught off balance and his glove touched the canvas. By today's rules that's a knockdown. If we are going to argue about this... perhaps we should argue what a knockdown should be.

if his hand didnt touch he would have had his ass on the floor, i wouldnt call it balance cuz he was leaning foreward and fell backward

    Adam

If Floyd was off balance, who's fault is it?

And You can bet that Floyd wouldn't have staggered like that or his glove would have touched canvas if Judah hadn't hit him.

I think it was a legitimate knockdown,no idea what Steele was thinking but I don't think it would have made much of a difference even if it was a 10-8 round,I mean look at the judge who had it 119-109 was it? 118-110 better?

It was a knockdown but he wasn't going down and he wasn't at all hurt. It wasn't a big punch or anything he just tried to pull out while off balance.
