Khan vs. Malignaggi Boxing Showdown Set For May 15 At MSG

Boxing In Germany: Klitschko - Chambers Go Head To Head In Germany

#1 WBO rated American heavyweight “Fast Eddie” Chambers and WBO/IBF Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko convened yesterday for a press conference in Dusseldorf, Germany just five days before their scheduled World Championship bout.

Klitschko is consodered to be, along with his brother, WBC Champion Vitali, to be the top heavyweight in the world.

Chambers will be taking part in his first world title fight.

In preparation for his April 24 fight against Chris Arreola, (28-1, 25 KOs ). Tomasz Adamek, (40-1, 27 KO’s), is in Houston, training with Ronnie Shields.

Shields, no stranger to making cruiserweights into heavyweight champions, was a key part of the training staff that guided Evander Holyfield to his heavyweight titles.

Shields had this to say about his first weeks of training Tomasz, “I like Tomasz. I am very impressed with his work ethic. When it comes to training Tomasz is determined to give you his all, 100% of the time.” When asked if he could compare Adamek to Holyfield in any way, Shields said the similarity was not in boxing style, but in the way they both like to work hard. Boxing Update: Tommy Morrison Continues Latest Comeback

Former heavyweight world champion Tommy "The Duke" Morrison has continued to train in Wichita, Kansas for his upcoming celebrity fundraising fight in Mexico.

Morrison, who retired from boxing in 1996 after reportedly testing positive for HIV, returned to the sport in February, 2007, winning his comeback bout and a follow-up fight a year later by TKO.
