By Michael Worden January 29th, 2007 All Round by Round

This past Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, Jorge Arce won his second consecutive WBC final eliminator and solidified his position as best super flyweight in the world with a dominating twelve round decision over Julio Ler. The action is presented here in an exclusive SaddoBoxing round by round.

Round one: After making a ring entrance on the back of a horse, Jorge Arce starts off the first round against Julio Ler with a few good stiff jabs. Arce gets in some hard body shots as Ler leans against the ropes. 10-9 Arce.

Round two: Arce starts the second frame by going to the body again. Ler threw a grand total of 14 punches in the first round and Arce bangs him as Ler just covers up against the ropes. Arce lands another hard left hook before Ler lands a good left, the first solid shot that he has landed tonight. Arce once against bangs his opponent's body against the ropes and Ler tells him to bring it on, but he gets on his bike and just runs. Boxing Round By Round: Tshifhiwa Munyai - Martin Power 2

By Robin York January 28th, 2007 All Round by Round

This past Friday, Tshifhiwa Munyai confirmed his status as world class prospect, successfully defending his Commonwealth Bantamweight crown with a vicious four
round pounding of former victim Martin Power on a Frank Maloney Promotion at Goresbrook LC in Dagenham, England.

Power lost his undefeated record to Munyai last year in a back and forth thriller, but was way out of his depth this time.

Round one: Power, from Camden Town, entered the ring smiling confidently and made a decent start, nipping in and out with some decent right hands to head and body. Halfway through the first round, the champion hailing from South Africa began to find his timing and when he did, he looked blistering, throwing every punch in the book at Power. A sickening right hand to the body caused the challenger to grimace at the end of the first. More...
