On March 6 at the beautiful Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, CT, Star Boxing's young phenom Ray "Tito" Serrano, 8-0 (5), takes a big step up in his career when he takes on once beaten "Smokin" Jay Krupp, 12-1 (5), in an eight round welterweight contest.
The card, which will be broadcast live on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights", will be headlined by Star Boxing's welterweights Delvin Rodriguez, 23-2-2 (14), taking on Shamone "The Truth" Alvarez, 20-1 (11). Heavyweights Sam ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Peter and 'Fast Eddie' Chambers met with members of the media on Thursday, February 19 in Los Angeles as their upcoming bout on March 27 was announced.
Both fighters have recent losses they feel need accounting for, and will be looking for redemption at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in the downtown LA venue’s first fight event, scheduled to air on ESPN Friday Night Fights at 10:00 pm ET/7:00 pm PT.
Heavyweight ‘Fast Eddie’ Chambers’ trainer Rob Murray Sr. has worked with the 26 year old Chambers since the heavyweight was 19 and sees the upcoming fight against Peter on March 27 as, “A mission, with a no-fail value, no fail in it whatsoever.”
‘Fast Eddie’, 33-1 (18), from Pittsburgh, PA., fought 17 straight times at the legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia before appearing on a Goossen-Tutor promoted show in Reno, NV in 2006 and is currently ranked #3 by the IBF. More...

On Friday, February 13, Star Boxing's junior welterweight prospect "The New" Ray Robinson, 9-0 (3), will look to start the new year with a bang when he takes on fellow unbeaten prospect Darnell Jiles Jr., 8-0-1 (3).
The bout is scheduled for eight rounds and will be the co-feature bout for that evening's ESPN2 "Friday Night Fights" telecast. In the main event of the evening, Star Boxing's welterweight knockout artist Alexis Camacho, 17-1 (16), will look to close the show in exciting fashion when he meets the tough as nails Carlos Molina, 14-4-1 (5), in a ten round wetlerweight contest. There was action North of the border last night as Juan Urango regained the IBF Light Welter title with a wide points decision over local favorite Herman Ngoudjo at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Colombian southpaw Urango came out of the gates firing on all cylinders and by the second had struck paydirt, battering his Cameroon born opponent to the canvas twice in the second round.
From that point on, Ngoudjo avoided close combat with Urango and tried to box his way to victory but couldn't find a way to dictate the pace.
Urango proved just too strong and durable to be bothered by the faster handed Montreal man and cruised to a 120-106, 118-108 and 116-110 points verdict after twelve rounds.
The 28 year old Miami resident has now won four straight and once again wears the IBF belt, two years after losing it to Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas. More...
