Sensational young prospects Derek and Tyler Hinkey will return to action in their hometown of Reno, Nevada on Friday, July 10th on the terrific undercard of "Summer Showdown" at the Reno Events Center.
The evening of world class boxing is headlined by a ten round light heavyweight battle between The Fighting Pride of Northern Nevada, Jesse Brinkley and Baltimore’s Mike Paschall” and is presented by Reno’s Let’s Get It On Promotions and Las Vegas based TKO Boxing Promotions.
Middleweight Derek Hinkey, 7-1-0, has thrilled crowds in Northern Nevada since turning professional two years ago, all seven of his wins coming by knockout.

Super middleweights Jesse Brinkley and Joey Gilbert broke camp on Sunday in anticipation of their long awaited showdown this Saturday night, February 14, at The Reno Events Center in Reno, NV.
Both fighters will appear at open workouts for fans and media on Tuesday, February 10 at the Fourth Street Gym in Reno.
Brinkley will work out from 11am to 12noon while Gilbert will train from 12:30 to 1:30pm.. The Fourth Street Gym is located at 410 E. Fourth St .
Stepping off the a plane from his training camp in Rhode Island with his trainer Peter Manfredo Sr., Brinkley declared himself ready for war. “We had a terrific camp, Mr. Manfredo did a great job setting everything up, he said. "The sparring partners were perfect for this fight.
“I’m glad to be back in Northern Nevada, it will be nice to see my kids and family who I’ve been away from since Christmas. Saturday night will be a special night for fight fans in Northern Nevada, but not so special for Joey Gilbert.” More...

Three thousand miles from the warm sandy beaches of San Diego, in a scene reminiscent of Marvin Hagler’s “going to war” training camps, world ranked super middleweight Jesse Brinkley has returned to Manfredo’s Gym in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to prepare for "Civil War", his long awaited grudge match with Joey Gilbert at the Reno Events Center on Saturday, February 14.
“It’s really become a ritual for me, leave my family behind, fly cross country to Rhode Island and bunker down here”, said Brinkley who spent Christmas in Yerington, Nevada with his family and friends. More...

Last night at Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, CA, former world champions were in action as Roman Karmazin, 37-3-1 (23), tangled with Bronco McKart, 51-9-1 (31), for the vacant NABF Middleweight title.
Both combatants had their glory days at light middle and 35 year old former IBF and European Champ Karmazin proved to be fresher than 37 year old ex-WBO Champ McKart, pulling out a 119-109, 118-110 and 117-111 unanimous decision victory after twelve rounds.
WBC ABC/PABA/WBO Asia Pacific Welter titlist Vitaliy Demyanenko, 16-0 (11), defeated Marteze Logan, 26-35-2 (6), when Logan couldn't continue after two rounds and middleweight David Medina, 20-2 (10), won his sixth in a row with a six round UD over Dan Wallace, 9-8 (3).
At the Howard U Burr Arena in Washington, DC, WBF Middleweight titlist Kreshnik Qato, 18-6 (3), made a rare American appearance and the London based Albanian made the best of it, stopping David Estrada, 12-11 (9), in the sixth frame.
Also on the bill, super middle Jesse Brinkley, 32-5 (22), went to light heavy to stop James Johnson, 23-31-3 (13), in the third. More...
