Boxing Hinkey Brothers Set For July 10 Reno Summer Showdown

Sensational young prospects Derek and Tyler Hinkey will return to action in their hometown of Reno, Nevada on Friday, July 10th on the terrific undercard of "Summer Showdown" at the Reno Events Center.

The evening of world class boxing is headlined by a ten round light heavyweight battle between The Fighting Pride of Northern Nevada, Jesse Brinkley and Baltimore’s Mike Paschall” and is presented by Reno’s Let’s Get It On Promotions and Las Vegas based TKO Boxing Promotions.

Middleweight Derek Hinkey, 7-1-0, has thrilled crowds in Northern Nevada since turning professional two years ago, all seven of his wins coming by knockout.

This past February 14th he stunned the packed house at the Reno Events Center with a brutal first round knockout of Ariel Espinal on the undercard of the bill headlined by Jesse Brinkley’s win over longtime rival Joey Gilbert. More...

 

 

Nugaev vs. Huerta Added To July 10 Reno Boxing Show

An outstanding ten round lightweight battle has been added to the boxing card on Friday July 10th at the Reno Events Center as Russian Rustam Nugaev will battle Mexico City’s Miguel Angel Huerta in the co-main event, it was announced today by Let’s Get It On Promotions and TKO Boxing Promotions.

Recently signed to the Let’s Get It On banner, the 26 year old Nugaev, brings a record of 19-5-1 (11KO’s) into the battle with Huerta. He is riding a four bout winning streak, all of the bouts coming in his native Russia, most recently knocking out former world title challenger Justin Juuko in the second round on November 15, 2008, capturing the IBA Lightweight title.
