Boxing Twins Velasquez Brothers Back In Action June 27 At Morongo Casino

The undefeated Velasquez Twins Carlos Ivan, 7-0 (6), and Juan Carlos, 7-0 (4), are scheduled to be back in the ring June 27, 2008 on a Golden Boy Promotions show from the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, CA. Both fighters are looking to extend on their winning streaks as they steadily climb up the featherweight rankings.

Carlos Ivan will face Scott Furney, who hails from Waterford, Michigan, in a six round bout. “I’m happy to be back in the ring” said Carlos. “I feel great and I’ve been working hard in the gym. It’s time to let my hands go. I can’t wait to fight at the Morango”
