If your such a font of boxing knowledge and there's no way you can possibly be wrong then why do you feel the need to resort to insults. Keyboard warriors make me laugh and this time i'll treat it with the contempt it deserves and ignore it. Whether you contribute to the hit count or not, i couldn't care less. I happen to think that it can be useful especially for checking out fighters in the lowere eschelons of the sport and the suspension reports make good reading.

And allow me to rephrase the "so called experts" comment. Experts from all over the world heap praise on him. The reason why some opponents haven't made it to the limelight in the states is because calzaghe has exposed them already. He shoould of gone to america earlier and probably would of had to fight the same people but would of had more of the credit he deserves

Little ditty Trinidad and itsy bitsy Hoya should NEVER have been in the ring with a full blown middle weight and by fighting little guys like that Hopkins shows everyone why he was champ for soooo long.
Atleast Joe Calzaghe fights bonafide supermddles, apart from Manfredo, but that was one of few, whereas Hopkins' BERNARD' fought too many small guys. Hopkins was and is a fraud!

Benn,Watson, McCallum AND Eubank, pound for pound, peak for peak, expose Hopkins for what he is, a welterweght fighting, offencively limited, boring ex-con who has bored the world once to often.
Shame the U.S. doesn't realise it! Benn would have SLAUGHTERED Hopkins in 6 rounds at middle, Hopkins cannot fight, he runs, period! You obviously didn't watch the Eatsman fight, it was a disgacefull show by Hopkins, he ran and ran and ran and in the last 3-4 rounds, decided to throw punches!

Itsy bitsy De La Hoya was AHEAD on the scorecards in his fight with Bernard before he got KO'd. Yeah, Joe fought natural 168'ers but they were BUMS. Fighting and beating talented superstars who moved up 1 or 2 weight classes to fight you is more impressive than fighting BUMS who are natually in the same weight class as you.

Experts from all over the world? Name ONE. I dare you. If Joe had came to America earlier he wouldn't be undefeated and he wouldn't be in the position he is now. If he would've came here say....a decade ago, and fought Roy Jones, James Toney, Hopkins, hell even a guy like Montell Griffin....he would've lost. The 1998 Joe Calzaghe wouldn't stand a chance against any of those fighters I just mentioned.

If you REALLY think that Nigel Benn, Mike McCallum and Chris Eubank are all superior to Bernard Hopkins then there's no reason for me to even discuss boxing with you because you are an absolute nimrod. Bernard Hopkins is one of the greatest middleweights of all time. Period. And there's nothing you can do or say to change that. I can't believe you said Benn would KO Hopkins....that's absurd. That's like saying Muggsy Bogues could dunk on Shaq....it just doesn't make sense.

I have to agree with BfromSD.. Like he and i stated earlier Joe Cal is overrated.. Joe's resume is trash.. the best fighter he fought was a past his prime 43 year old man who knocked him down and actually won the fight. the so called blown up welterweights bernard fought were obviously more skilled than the bums joe fought.. you can't tell me joe calzaghe has faced elite opposition during his entire career.. he should of came to the states a decade ago to fight real opposition
