It's really hard to say b/c anybody that knows the internal pyschie of Nard knows that he will not let a Mackie Shilestone carved up body go to waste on a loss to end his career. But like you pointed out earlier, Nard is a "smart brother", and he knows that he had to pull the old okie doke trick against Zaghe b/c that 43 yr old body was running out of gas. Is there another big fight at 75 for him that ppl would tune in for? IDK but Nard's old school defense and lack of workrate is wearing thin.

you're right he ain't going out on a "loss". but you can't play with age in this game and i would hate to see him loose his marbles. possible fights, apparently a second fight with Tito is lined up but because of trinidads last performance at light-heavy they wouldn't be able to give away tickets at 75.

That Tito fight is starting to seem even more of a possibility. IMO, Tito does not belong in the ring any higher than 160. I respectfully disagree on Bhop getting hurt - he has mastered that non-crowd pleasing approach of defensive angles to where I don't see anyone airing him out...but the problem is that he's too far gone in his own masterpiece of defense to ever sit on his punches and create consistent offense, the kind of attack that even casual fans would shell out for like an aging Hearns.

@ali, I have never talked about a Margarito-PBF fight. I dont talk about PBF at all. PBF is just there. I dont like the cat and I dont dislike the cat either. Also, I said Margarito is a great fighter to watch. As in hes very entertaning, he comes to fight. Im not putting the guy in the HOF or any thing like that. i think its a little disrespectful to say a guy like forbes laid down and was satisfied with a loss...and that 'tap' couldnt've been just sportsmaship by forbes? 2nd, true, forbes didnt press and test dlh's body, but neither does floyd. overall, i think goldenboy is good for boxing. competition is good. arum and king were duping so many fighters out of the majority of their paychecks for so long. now guys actually have an option.

men c'mon! dela hoya, fought a natural 130 pound fighter in steve forbes, a 35 5 9 ko's, dela hoya knows that steve cannot hurt him. that's y maybe he pick him as his opponent, im a fan of oscar but now after floyd money may fight i think his opponents are only handpick's! because he has that popularity already and he is the promoter. even though he's opponent are not that challenging for ODH
