I've been following this show ONLY for the guy in the left, most of the time he's spot on when calling a fight. The loud mouth fatso on the right is all BS, he should talk less and let the knowledgeable one do the talking, look at their archive this guy calls fights incorrectly most of the time.

Yah very close fight could've went either way I thought Manny did enough to win.
Could be FOTY, tho Marquez/Vasquez might still edge it out.
On a side note, did you happen to notice how Cortez reffed the Diaz/Montano fight? Notice how he barely broke them at all even to replace the mouthpiece.....just something to add to British rage against Cortez hehehe.....

wx85 i really think during cortez last fight he was over eager 2prove the media wrong after the slatin he got because of hes antics in the m v h, it was a joke the way he reffed the fight, the point deduction was the nail in the coffin 4me, i knew the second that happened hatton had no chance, he was fighting 2 guys at that stage. but lets b honest i think even do cortez was a disgrace 2put it lightly the british fans wrongly booing the us anthem played a huge part in cortez' display

Really? So you think Cortez was reacting to the anti-American sentiment? Well whatever the case, I think it just proves the point that he was biased in that fight. If he was a consistent ref who always broke fighters up no problem, but paying more attention to his other fights, he shows himself to be extremely inconsistent.

wxc85, exactly, its not like hes an inexperienced referee to boxing,hes been around a long time and i definatlythink that after all of these fights hes judged for world title fights hes more than proven hes unfit to be trusted to let a fight go to its full potential. i dont see any reason why he should be given too many more world title fights for the forseeable future!
