You obviously don't watch this show on a regular basis, but I see you're up B4Reals arse. My hopes are for Ricky to make Mayweather quit, to break his will. well you and b4real completely yank biased, it is your sort of opinions that has hurt the history of boxing, you refuse to give British fighters the credit they deserve. Thankfully the spread of media of today will not allow your fighters and promotors to duck our boys. People like Hatton, Haye, Khan and Calzaghe are now getting the shots they deserve. It no longer matters how much you wanted Kessler to beat Calzaghe, the cream can finally rise to the top.

Calzaghe is not my guy. You explicitly say you dislike his style and his way of boxing. I believe you are trying to be unbiased, but commenting on a very strong victory by calzaghe by focusing on kessler and what he coulda shoulda woulda done kind of shows you failed, don't you think?

lightbulb- you are exactly right with this post. Everything you said is to a tee dead on. That is why I collected my thoughts and made a follow up video, after spending a day defending myself from rabid Calzaghe supporters which is what I thought you where by bringing this up a month later no harm though I respect your opinions.

Lightbulb - yes and my point is the lead right is more effective against a southpaw, and the jab on the back end of the exchanges. I'm not saying Kessler would have won if he employed this strategy, for all I know he may not have been capable and Calzaghe may have still taken that away. My point is Kessler didn't even try it or wasn't prepared to. Thanks 4 watching.

lightbulb, thanks for looking into more of my videos. What irks me about Calzaghe and a lot of other top tier boxers is that they promise one thing and then deliver another. I was expecting an effort to knock Kessler out and didn't get it. This is why I try real hard not to pay any attention to what boxers say before fights.

thanks for your reply. Wrong video to post on, but I think your analysis of mayweather/hatton is good. I would venture that mayweather could also beat hatton by ko, cos hatton is quite open on the way in. My head says mayweather but this is a fight ridden with the intangibles you often refer to.I hope hatton.

Just curious storkjmc; considering what you said in this video, what do you make of Joe's chances against Hopkins? Calzaghe showed a great chin and that he can take and cope with some big shots (Kessler landed an enormous left hook in the fourth) but does that demonstrate that despite how good Joe thinks he is he's liable to getting caught and Hopkins could exploit this. Plus, despite facing some good fighters, he's never faced anyone of Hopkins' calibre. Your thoughts would be appreciated :)

Qoxiivi - I don't like the match up for Calzaghe. Hopkins has been well known for exploiting southpaws and has many more dimensions than Kessler does.

Originally I thought the match-up was going to be a relatively straightforward UD for Calzaghe but I've since come to realise that Hopkins (given his immense experience) is going to bring into the ring something that Calzaghe simply hasn't experienced before. I still think Calzaghe might just take it but that it'll be an awkward bout that certainly won't emerge as many people expect; a 12 round UD won merely on work-rate. I'm looking forward to it though for certain.

People knocked Calzaghe for not fighting the best since he beat Eubank i can agree it was good comp noe elite, he beats Lacy who at the time was an animal he beats Kessler who is and will become a great fighter he then fights Hopkins beats him and all the boxing boards are he beats up old men they talk Pavlik and they say thr 6 2" 160lb champ has done nothing.
Joe cant win if he was American he would be P4P1 imo, Kelly Pavlik is the best fight for him and will be a war i hope it happens.
