That fight was a clever collaboration between Don King and McNeeley's manager, Vecchione. It's amazing that McNeeley was ranked as high as 7th in the heavyweight division at that time. Oh well, money goes a long way as they say ;)
Regardless, McNeeley should be very grateful towards these two men; otherwise, he would have never had the chance to fight Tyson and have made the big payday.
Tyson looked rusty, but he wasn't going to let the man see the 2nd round even without the towel throw.

i know peter mcneely he used to live down the street from my old house and he would stop by every now and then to say hi or w/e he's pretty messed up from all the fightin and all the drugs but hes a pretty good guy once you get to know him and he didnt quit this match his trainers jumped in the ring to end it bcuz they knew he was gonna lose anyway and would of got seriously injured if it didnt end early but give the guy some credit i mean seriously he was fightin tyson not exactly an easy match
