This is without doubt the best fight i've seen, These two guys came out fighting from the first round, not the 'chase me round the ring until we're knackered crap', that we see so often now. HAGLER was awesome, the boxers around today, couldn't lace his boots. we are talking 15 round fighters.

hagler aint got shit on hearns.. if tommy had entered wit his legs he'd box marvin to death. if he hadn't broke his hand in d 1st he'd knock him out.. he was an un-armed soldier by d time hagler got him, n not cuz of anythin hagler did. marvin knew hearns was better dats why he aint never gave him no rematch.. wuts sad is tommy's to classy to say it, so some ppl think hagler was better which aint true at all

Hearns was a great fighter, no doubt about that, but Hagler was a much better fighter. Even though they both lost to Sugar Ray Leonard, only one of them was knocked out. The other lost a close, controversial, decision. But who fared better?

1 u cant put a legacy on 1 common opponent. over their respective careers hearns did far more than hagler. 2 even if u did, hagler won with 1 point i personally think.. hearns was beating SRL fo 14rnds then tanked out, never had fought past 13. in d rematch he gave him a complete beating winning by atleast 4points.. both were MUCH better than SRL.. he spent most of his career ducking d 2 of em.. damn its u! (just saw it now) d biggest fool on youtube, no wonder..

Well, boxing is my favorite sport, I know what I'm talking about. I haven't seen their rematch, although I've heard a lot about. I've never even seen it and I can tell you the outcome. Hearns did enough to win, but in the end, had to settle for a draw. Like I said, DUMBASS, the scorcard was just my personal opinion. And by the way, Duane Ford had Leonard by only 2 points. In a 15 round fight,thats close enough. Otherwise, I would not have posted the scorecard,since I already knew the outcome.

This was definitely one of the all time great fights. I personally feel if Hearns boxed Hagler and used his reach and didnt' slug it out with him he could have won. Still, they were two amazing fighters!!

this was not boxing as its best it was fighting as its best. these warriors barely boxed and just slugged the hsit outta eachother.
