your right, mma isnt gay, but.... but your wrong about the backing up thing. yea there is a lotta' boxers now'adays who suck. but you look at a fighter by the name of sugar ray robinson who to me is the greatest fighter evver. well he could knock sum1 out going backwards. and its good that you guys go forward but some times it is not the smartest thing. i've sparred some mma guy and he got pissed cuz he couldnt hit me and i layed hands on me, so he tried to take me down and he still couldnt win

Boxers are boxers and MMA guys are FIGHTERS. Boxers have a limited selection in the tool kit. Hit with the knuckle portion of the glove, no clinch. The MMA tool kit is huge. Takedowns, submissions, palm strikes, backfists, knees, elbows, and kicks. Also, the MMA fighter uses 4-ounce gloves, while boxers use 14- or 16-ounce gloves. It's a complete myth that boxers hit harder. Not true. AND if lightweight MMA champ Urijah Faber went against Klitchsko with MMA rules, Faber would WIN. I'm serious.

lol if a boxer got in a FIST FIGHT with a mma fighter (same size) the boxer would destroy him. boxer gloves have more padding imagine how hard and fast they would hit with mma gloves or no gloves. lol urijah fabber is like 120 dont get me wrong hes amazin one of my favs but klitichko has bout 200 ilbs on him size matters when its two trained fighters the bigger one usually has much more arm str.
