hahahahhaha, wow, someone was way off on Gomez. Not only did Cotto not respect Gomez as a boxing, it's hard to see Cotto respecting Gomez as a person. I don't blame him. Gomez was talking all that shit about Cotto's chin, so Cotto went in there and fucked his world up. Cotto could have easily ended that in round one, but it was clear, Cotto wanted to beat some respect into that boy, and I bet you Gomez is going to think twice about calling out elite in-their-prime fighters again.

bj, you saw exactly what i saw in Cotto. he absolutely toyed with Gomez with that stare down once the bell sounded ending round 1. this guy is no joke, he has now put it all together with speed, angles, footwork, pocket work in the middle of the ring, and oh yeah that body attack. i know Margo will come in at 161 with that 6 foot frame, but Cotto will outspeed and outclass Margo. let's keep this quiet as i want the odds to stay even money on Cotto so that I can make $ for $ in July on bodog.

COTTO vs. MARGARITO...a good BOXING MATCH to see...but it would be a good quality boxing match if both will line-up against mayweather...let's see if mayweather is truely the #1 pound for pound fighter or is he another overrated fighter that picks his fights...mayweather will just waste his god-given talent and skills if he keeps on ducking these young good fighters in his division...it would prove his critics wrong if he can UNIFY all the belts in his division before he retires...which i doubt.

there are about 5 diff ways Cotto can beat Tony, but i'll give u his path to least resistance: Cotto will simply beat AM to the punch and not let AM get off. this will happen over and over again, so much that you won't believe it's the same Tony who fought Cintron in April. i saw all i needed to see, Cotto actually retreated from the pocket three diff times to drag out the beating - did anyone catch that? when a fighter does this, it means he's utterly zoned n - young ODLH did this to JC Chavez.

I'm not sure if you guy were clownin GJ or not but you gotta remember he was an undefeated prospect at one point & the only man to beat him up in his career was the same man to give him that first "L" B-hop.
