Southpaw, 6"3, settled back down in his weight and not feeling the effects of being a movie star...I just think it's Magic Man's time to shine this Saturday. Woods is a strong advisary no question about that and I will say that Johnson has a win on both of these guys so to be honest this is a toss up fight but you have to take into consideration that Tarver is a Floridian which may sway the judges. Other than that I believe this is going to be a great fight with the hungrier person winning.

good show as usual don't agree with everything you say but like the way you give your opinion no bias just straight up. I think Tarver is passed it he looked bad against Hopkins. thought it could be a one-off but then he was shit against Muriqi and again against Santiago even though he knocked him out he just looked really sluggish. Dawson to take out Johnson keep a stiff jab in his face and that straight left down the pipe and a good right uppecut when in close. Good show keep it up.

Dawson over Glen Johnson. Tarver over Woods. Cotto over Gomez (don't kid yourselves fans). Margarito over Cintron. Cintron is still weak under pressure. Margie will be bringing the heat early. I don't think Cintron can stay afloat.
I had a dream last night that Hopkins stopped Calzaghe. My head says Joe Cal looked better than ever in his last fight. And Hopkins looked a little sluggish against Winky. Gotta go with my gut, though. Hopkins retires like a champion with a decided victory.

- Higher work rate
- A gentleman, icon for younger generation
- Always attempts to please fans
I can only see Hopkins winning via lucky KO or his experience... "slyness" rather... Definately not by natural talent. Good luck to both fighters, both are legends and valuable assets to the boxing world. We should enjoy them now, rather then after they retire Joe Calzaghe will own Hopkins. End

-heart of a lion
-matured late(a fighter coming into his own)
-down to earth with a lot to prove
-in your face back to basics boxer
-underrated beyond belief
this ones clintons to lose,tarvers past his prime and the in your face style of woods will not suit his style,i dont see this going 12 rounds,woods by KO or tarver by TKO tarver will be beat into retirement...

Woods over Tarver: Tough one. If Woods can bring the pressure, I don't think Tarver throws enough punches to get him off.
Margarito over Cintron: Tossup, but have to go with the tougher guy in another brawl.

Cotto is a chinny mofo though. If Mayorga lands one of those wild uppercuts that Cotto doesn't see coming he would be in BIG trouble. To his credit, he does recover quickly after being hurt. I have to think Mayorga would jump all over his ass if he somehow got Cotto in trouble. Still, I would expect Cotto to win. Mayorga has a chance though.
As someone stated previously, a lot of fighters are live against Cotto. He will never have that aura of invincibility like a Mayweather has.

I agree with you fellas most of the way but i think people make too much of the Cintron loss. People keep saying he lost by devastating knock out but Cintron gave up and it he wanted out. In his heart and mind right now he knows what Margarito brings and he feels that he can beat him and nothing is going to change that until they get in the ring and finds out that him at his best right now is or is not good enough

COTTO vs. MARGARITO...a good BOXING MATCH to see...but it would be a good quality boxing match if both will line-up against mayweather...let's see if mayweather is truely the #1 pound for pound fighter or is he another overrated fighter that picks his fights...mayweather will just waste his god-given talent and skills if he keeps on ducking these young good fighters in his division...it would prove his critics wrong if he can UNIFY all the belts in his division before he retires...which i doubt.
