It wasn’t a one-punch finish. Instead, Pacheco steadily wore Aleem down before finally forcing the stoppage in round eleven, while several unbeaten prospects underneath him also enjoyed big nights, with Albert Gonzalez scoring a spectacular early knockout and Andy Cruz returning to winning ways in emphatic fashion.

Diego Pacheco improved to 26-0-0 after stopping Immanuwel Aleem (22-5-3) via TKO at 2:32 of round eleven.

One of the night’s more notable results came at bantamweight, where unbeaten Bruno Rios Jr. stayed perfect by outpointing Saul Sanchez over ten rounds. The judges scored it 96-93, 95-94 and 96-93, lifting Rios to 9-0-0. Bit of an upset for some, but Rios keeps building momentum.

Undercard

Federico Pacheco Jr improved to 11-0-0 with a second-round TKO over Nick Jones. The referee stopped the heavyweight contest at 1:31 of round two.

Frank Espinoza extended his unbeaten start to 5-0-0 after Luis Caraballo Ramos retired on his stool following round three, giving Espinoza the RTD victory.

Samuel Contreras stayed unbeaten at 8-0-0 by taking a unanimous decision over Jorge Alberto Ayala Lopez. The judges scored it 60-54, 59-55 and 59-55 after six rounds.

Heavyweight prospect Leo Atang also kept his perfect record intact, stopping Glen Williams in round two at 2:50 to move to 8-0-0.
